Our CEO and illustrator, Fábio Mota, is one of the guest teachers for the Cria Da Quebrada project. The project arose from a partnership between P&G Brazil, Zumbi dos Palmares University, Miami Ad School, and Grey, with the aim of providing black students with opportunities to professionally develop in the field of communication.

For two months, Fábio Mota developed a plan of dynamic and immersive classes with the students of the project. In a relaxed manner, he introduced illustration concepts, stimulating self-discovery, creativity, and imagination through practical and theoretical exercises.
The goal was to reinforce the students' confidence and the development of their potential in an immersive, affectionate, and intuitive way, preparing them not only for the communication and advertising industry but, above all, for the challenges of life.

"I didn't know I enjoyed drawing until I 'remembered' how to draw. It was an incredible experience and a wonderful lesson. I found a new hobby, and without a doubt, I found a new profession. Thank you for reminding me how enjoyable it is to illustrate, as Emicida would say, 'To live is to depart, return, and share.' Thank you for sharing this beautiful moment." - Thamirys da Costa (student of the Cria Da Quebrada course)
"Today, I am much more confident in drawing and consider myself an illustrator. Never say 'my drawing is ugly,' never say 'I can't draw,' and never compare yourself to others. Everyone has their own excellence, and Fabio's classes helped me discover my illustrator's essence." - Edson Trindade (student of the Cria Da Quebrada course)

"Illustration has always been a mystery to me. I've always had a block when it came to drawing, and in my experience in illustration classes with Fabio, I discovered that we all know how to draw and have an individual talent that we need to appreciate. Today, I value my sketches!
I can only express gratitude to Fabio and the time we had together in class - Vinícius Spanghero (Student of the Quebrada Class)."

In my classes, my primary aim is for the student to rediscover the intimate connection between themselves and their unique way of imprinting their worldview. Once this connection is reestablished, it unfolds into various exploitable aspects, such as therapeutic illustration, illustration as an enhancer of the creative process, and illustration as a vehicle for identity expression. The classes are based on my personal experience, resulting from an extensive journey as an art director and professional illustrator.
I am very joyful and proud of the results achieved by this group, and the most gratifying aspect is to realize that, by the end of the course, the students have understood the true essence of learning, incorporating illustration into their daily lives and allowing this powerful tool to become the starting point for great ideas or the culmination of a beautiful presentation, even becoming part of their own projects.
Witnessing illustration permeate the daily lives of my students, exerting its transformative impact, is an experience that deeply moves me. Through my expertise and knowledge, I have been able to awaken creativity in each of them, inspiring them to explore the depths of their own visual narratives.
I am convinced that by creating this intimate connection between students and illustration, I am contributing to the development of talents and the emergence of innovative creative perspectives.
As I conclude this project as an illustration teacher, I feel satisfied and aware that the impact of these classes will echo throughout my students' lives over time.
